You want to find and address protocol issues as early
as possible in your development process. For physical-layer testing, we offer a Bit Error Rate Tester, the
Xgig BERT module and software. For layer 2 and layer 3 testing, the protocol test phases, we offer multiple products. For SAS and SATA, Finisar offers the
PacketMaker tester. For Fibre Channel and parallel SCSI, Finisar provides the Eagle tester.
As your development needs progress, you need to test and
verify protocol compliance. For that we have our
SANmark Qualification
offerings, an adjunct to the Eagle tester, to help you demonstrate the quality and interoperability of your Fibre Channel products.
Our
Xgig Jammer product enables controlled and repeatable modification of actual network traffic to allow error injection, so you can be sure your products respond correctly to protocol
problems.
For load testing, we have two products;
Xgig Load Tester for Fibre Channel load testing and our
industry-recognized
Medusa Test Tools software.
And finally, one of our newest SAS/SATA tools, we offer the
Xgig Traffic Generator which onnects to users' systems and supports arbitrary creation of SAS
protocol traffic at 1.5, 3.0, or 6.0 Gb/s, and SATA traffic at 1.5 and
3.0 Gb/s, allowing emulation of either SAS or SATA devices.
